Sylphar's golden boy. Soldier, charmer, and the hero who rescued Princess Ariadne from Erebos.

The crowds adore him. But heroes aren't always what they seem, and Leon wants that crown badly. How far would he go?

What makes Leon who he is:

He is charm itself. He can win a room with a smile, and he knows it.

He is the hero of the rescue. He brought Princess Ariadne home from Erebos, and Sylphar has not stopped celebrating him since.

He is ambitious. The crown is not just a dream for Leon. It is a goal, and he is willing to reach for it.

He is not as simple as the cheers make him sound. There is more under the charm than the crowds ever see, and the question is what it costs.

So: hero, or something else? Read and decide.

The Importance of Reading Comprehension

  Suppose your child is brilliant at crunching numbers and can memorize facts like nobody’s business, but they aren’t making much headway on their reading comprehension scores. And maybe you’ve been thinking, “What’s the big deal?”    And I am here to tell you that reading comprehension may not seem very important now, but will make learning increasingly difficult as the child gets older if they show little to no improvement.    All information is passed on from teacher (or parent) to the child through language. If the child does not fully comprehend what they are hearing, then they do not obtain the knowledge that a teacher is attempting to pass on to them. How to Build a Sandcastle (Poem)

Did you visit the beach or play in a sand box this summer? Recall those sweet memories as you enjoy this poem together. (text)   How to Build a Sandcastle By Brandi Peterson A sandy beach is a perfect spot, for building up your castle plot. Get a bucket and a shovel. Fill it up and pack it level. Now, turn it over really fast. Lift it gently to make a cast. Repeat the process one by one, until the sandy work is done. Decorate it with twigs and shells. Populate it with crabs and snails.
